Our professional portraiture sessions are not just for humans but pets too! Family sessions often include the dog or the ponies as they are such an important part of the family unit. Generational portraiture sessions are also very popular, so often people have their children photographed as a gift for the grandparents but what makes it an extra special gift is if the whole family are together – 2, 3 or 4 generations in the same photograph, that is a treasured memory.

Sessions can take place at our studio, your home or in a favourite location. I often use beautiful local woodland and parks near Farnham but you may have somewhere that is special to you. Family fun captured – that’s how I like to think of the sessions!

My work

I’m Fiona, an award-winning wedding and event photographer based in Surrey and working throughout Hampshire, London and beyond. Over the past 20+ years I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings, so you’re in safe hands — and I still love every single minute of it. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

For me, photography is about creating timeless, natural images in a distinctive style that couples can treasure forever. It’s both a pleasure and a privilege to capture your story.

I’ve had the joy of photographing at beautiful venues including Pennyhill Park, Gate Street Barn, Wentworth Club, The Barn at Bury Court, Farnham Castle, The Walled Garden at Cowdray Park, Warbrook House and Tylney Hall.

Photographs tell stories, spark laughter and bring special moments back to life every time you look at them. That’s the magic I love — helping people relive the joy of their day again and again.

Just as important as the photographs is the experience of being photographed. I want you, your family and your friends to feel relaxed, to have fun and enjoy the process. My approach is professional yet friendly, blending classic portraiture with candid documentary photography. The result is a collection of images that are natural, expressive and full of character — capturing the emotions, energy and fun of your wedding.

Please do take a look around my website. If you’d like to know more, or simply have a chat about photography and all things weddings, I’d love to hear from you.

How It All Began

photograph |ˈfəʊtəɡrɑːf|
noun
A picture made using a camera, in which an image is focused onto light-sensitive material and then made visible and permanent by chemical treatment, or stored digitally.

What I love most about this definition is “visible and permanent.”

I’ve always loved photographs. As a child, I would spend hours looking through my Grandad’s navy albums, our family holidays, important occasions, the wonderfully embarrassing ones of us as kids. Albums stuffed with memories; these moments stored – visible and permanent.

That early fascination played a big part in me becoming a photographer. I liked the idea of recording moments in time – just like my Grandad had, with his photographs of ships, smart young men in uniform, foreign lands, a pet monkey, historical moments. One photograph. One point in time. Preserved. That was it – the job for me.

(Funny really. When I was little, I was sure I’d work with horses or become a farmer.)

I went on to study at Guildford College and landed my first assistant role straight after. I’ve been photographing ever since – and I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. I even met, my now husband, Jason, at a photographic studio!

Beyond the Lens

Jason and I live in a small village just outside Farnham, Surrey, and we love being part of the community here. We are custodians of a pre-millennium Land Rover Defender with a roof-top tent and head off exploring whenever we get the chance – usually as off-grid as possible, which tends to lead us to the most breathtaking corners of the UK.

I’m happiest pottering in the garden (still slightly amazed every time something I plant actually grows), or out on my bike – definitely not in Lycra! The radio is always on and I love music, a bit of everything from all eras – and I often drive Jason mad by humming along, singing the wrong lyrics, all of which is out of tune.

It has to be a proper coffee when I’m working, and the occasional pint of real ale and a sundowner gin when I’m not.

Let’s Talk

If you’re looking for someone who’ll care just as much about the memories you’ll create as you do – whether it’s your wedding day, a family celebration, or something uniquely yours – I’d love to hear from you.

Frequently Asked Questions / FAQ’s

We are sure you have many questions to ask so to help you on your way we have put together a list of some of those most frequently asked.

Who will photograph my wedding?

I photograph every wedding personally. All the work you have viewed on the web site and in our portfolio albums are all from real weddings and photographed by me and my husband Jason. Just like me, Jason is also a full-time professional photographer and works with me where the requirement is for two photographers.

How long will it be before we see our photographs?

We don’t show or make available the images to anyone before you have had the chance to see them first. We look to give you a sneak peak of selected highlights within a week.
Producing fabulous imagery is what we do and at the studio the post production process takes your images through several stages where Jason and I each play a role in producing the finished look. Your high resolution images will be ready in 4-6 weeks and will be presented on our usb drive. If you are having an album, once we have finalised your design it takes approximately 6 weeks for your bespoke wedding album to be lovingly assembled and delivered to you.

Can my family and friends view the photographs online?

Certainly. We create an online gallery for you, your family and your friends to view. The gallery is password protected and the password will be emailed to you to pass on. If after you have seen all the images you would like to make them public so that a password is not needed, let us know and it can easily be removed.

Although you are based in Surrey – do you travel?

Yes of course. We will travel to wherever in the world you are having your wedding. Whilst most of our weddings are in Surrey, Hampshire and the surrounding counties, we have covered most of the UK. If your wedding is outside of the UK we can provide a quote specific to your needs.

What happens if the weather is bad?

You cannot change the weather. Come rain or shine your family and friends will be there to be part of your day and whatever the day holds in the skies above we have the experience to cope and adapt to the conditions to produce the very best imagery.

How far in advance should we book you?
To ensure we’re available for your day we suggest you look to book 6-12 months in advance, especially true for popular dates.

We love your work and would like to book you – what do we do now?

Firstly, thank you and we really look forward to being part of your day. If we haven’t already met then we should arrange a time where you can see some portfolio albums, talk about your wedding and more importantly meet in person. If you decide to book then we ask for a £250.00 deposit, which secures your date. Call us on 0333 577 5123 – inclusive with most mobile contracts or email us studio@jonesandco.co

Album or files – or both?

We use only the finest handmade albums from around the world. Each page in every album is imaginatively designed in-house and flows throughout to tell the story of your day. It will contain the images you have selected from your day. The complete design is shown to you for your approval before we produce the album.

You may wish to have high resolution files from which to make your own book. The photographs from your day are carefully edited and thoughtfully enhanced for colour, look and feel. The images come with a licence for your own personal use.

You may decide that you want both and albums and files, along with prints, wall art, desktop frames, etc and any of these can be created and supplied at any time.

Do you have insurance?

We are fully insured for your peace of mind.
