Wedding Venues We Love to Photograph
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings at some of the most beautiful venues across Surrey, Hampshire, and beyond. Each location has its own character — from elegant country houses to rustic barns and historic castles — and every one offers something unique for couples and photographers alike.
Here are some of our favourite venues where we’ve captured unforgettable wedding moments.
Wedding Photography at Pennyhill Park
I’m proud to be a Trusted Supplier to Pennyhill Park, and it’s always a privilege to photograph weddings here.
Nestled in 123 acres of Surrey countryside, this exceptional 19th-century mansion house is as impressive as it is welcoming. From the moment you drive along the tree-lined driveway, Pennyhill makes you feel like you’ve arrived somewhere very special.
With several elegant suites, the stunning outdoor Terrace Pavilion, and manicured lawns with lily ponds and woodland, Pennyhill offers a quintessential English country house setting for weddings both grand and intimate.
For photography, the terraces, gardens, and striking interiors provide endless opportunities for natural and stylish images. Working here alongside the excellent Pennyhill Park team is always a joy.

Wedding Photography at Wentworth Club
Wentworth Club is one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph, combining timeless elegance with modern luxury.
Located less than an hour from central London, Wentworth is world-renowned as a golf and country club, instantly recognisable by its castellated clubhouse set at the end of a sweeping drive.
The club offers a room for every occasion, from the chandelier-lit Grand Ballroom to the more intimate Ryder Cup and Curtis Cup rooms. The lavish interiors and expansive greens provide stunning settings throughout the day.
From elegant portraits indoors to relaxed moments outside — sometimes even hopping on a golf buggy! — Wentworth offers a wealth of photographic opportunities across its 700 acres.

Wedding Photography at Gate Street Barn
I’ve photographed many weddings at Gate Street Barn, and each time I return, it feels special.
Tucked away in the Surrey Hills near Guildford, this oak-framed venue is surrounded by farmland, with English Longhorn cattle grazing nearby and landscaped gardens framing the setting beautifully.
The barn itself is warm, rustic, and flexible — perfect for ceremonies and receptions. The blend of countryside charm with modern facilities makes it a favourite for couples looking for a relaxed but elegant celebration.
For photography, Gate Street is a dream. From intimate moments inside the barn to wide countryside views, every corner offers natural backdrops filled with character.

Wedding Photography at Farnham Castle & The Norman Chapel
Farnham Castle is one of my closest venues, and I never tire of photographing weddings here. Each visit reveals new angles, hidden corners, and fresh perspectives.
Steeped in over 900 years of history, the castle is one of the most significant heritage buildings in southern England. Its extensive grounds, historic chapel, ancient keep, and breathtaking views over Farnham town combine old-world grandeur with modern comfort.
The venue offers everything for a memorable wedding day — from the atmospheric Norman Chapel to elegant reception spaces and beautifully maintained grounds.
As a photographer, Farnham Castle is endlessly inspiring, with its mix of history, architecture, and sweeping landscapes providing a dramatic yet romantic backdrop.

Wedding Photography at The Walled Garden, Cowdray Park
The Walled Garden at Cowdray Park is a hidden gem — a magical, romantic setting that feels like stepping back in time.
Just outside the historic town of Midhurst, West Sussex, this exquisitely restored Tudor pleasure garden bursts with colour and fragrance. Paths wind between flowers, herbs, and iron sculptures, while the historic oak door and Tudor walls create a sense of intimacy and seclusion.
With the magnificent Cowdray Ruins rising nearby, the venue combines natural beauty with Tudor grandeur. It’s a place where history, romance, and nature come together.
For photography, the gardens and ruins are breathtaking — from vibrant floral backdrops to atmospheric architectural details, it’s a venue full of charm and character.

Wedding Photography at Warbrook House
Warbrook House is a venue that makes a statement the moment you arrive.
Located in Eversley, Hampshire, this Grade I listed mansion, designed in 1724 by architect John James, sits within 130 acres of landscaped gardens, complete with a Versailles-style canal. The sweeping drive, regal staircases, and elegant interiors set the tone for a wedding full of grandeur.
Inside, the mansion balances imposing rooms with more intimate spaces, while the gardens — with their formal layouts, ancient oaks, and walled features — provide endless variety.
For me as a photographer, Warbrook House offers everything: breathtaking long views, hidden corners, and a blend of sophistication and natural beauty that makes every wedding here truly memorable.

Wedding Photography at The Barn at Bury Court
The Barn at Bury Court is a stunning countryside wedding venue right on my doorstep, on the border of Surrey and Hampshire. I’ve photographed here many times, and it’s always a joy to return.
Set on a private farm estate near Bentley, the venue combines rustic charm with contemporary design. The enchanting walled garden, created by renowned designer Piet Oudolf, provides a magical outdoor space, while the restored 17th-century threshing barn (moved to this site in the 1930s and beautifully converted in 2002) offers a bright, spacious interior.
With soaring beams, natural light flooding the barn, and landscaped gardens filled with hidden corners and vibrant planting, The Barn at Bury Court is a dream setting for weddings.
For photography, it offers endless opportunities — from romantic portraits in the gardens to candid moments inside the barn — making every wedding here unique and full of character.
